Pak Army Jobs has informed that candidates can register online for AFNS Jobs 2023 through the official website joinpakarmy.gov.pk. All concerned female candidates in Pakistan may submit an online application to AFNS. Beginning on May 29, 2023, online enrollment will run through June 30, 2023. The candidate must have intermediate (F.Sc. in pre-medicine).

For AFNS, Candidates who will be taking the F.Sc. Part-II exam and who received 50% in their first year may apply with a hope certificate that has been properly signed by the principal of the relevant college or institution. Candidates must submit their F.Sc. mark sheet as soon as the part-II results are announced.

For Trained Nurses, Candidates should be registered with Pakistan Nursing Council PNC before applying as trained nurses. Preference will be given to eligible candidates who have completed post-basic specialized training, such as ICU, OT, or CCU, at a hospital or institution accredited by the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Eligibility Criteria for AFNS Army Jobs 2023

1. Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS):

Nationality:Citizens of Pakistan and domicile owners of Azad Kashmir/ Gilgit Baltistan. Upon final choice, applicants with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.
Education:Matric with Science (60% Marks) + F.Sc (Pre-medical) (50% Marks).
Age Limit:17-25 years (as on 31 December 2023)

2. Trained Nursed as Lieutenant:

Domicile:Only domicile holder from Balolchistan, KPK and Gilgit
Education:Sc. Generic Nursing Only (No diploma holder candidate is eligible)
Age Limit:18-28 years (as on 31 December 2023)
Gender:Female
Marital Status:Married/ unmarried.
Height:5 ft (152.4 cm)

How to Register Online for AFNS Jobs 2023?

Interested candidates should register online at the Pakistan Army’s official website, www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk, to join AFNS.
The individual’s email address will be informed of the test’s date and time. Once a date is given, it cannot be modified.
On the day of the test, candidates must also present the paperwork listed in the advertisement and pay the prospectus fee.
Candidates need to have a working understanding of computers.
Online registration is available from May 28 through June 30, 2023.

Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary Tests:

It contains written/ intelligence/ personality tests.

2. Preliminary Selection:

The applicants will undergo an initial medical test at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).

3. Further Selection Procedure:

Interviews of successful applicants by the General Headquarters (GHQ) selection board will be held at Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi for which discrete call up letters will be issued.
Successful candidates will receive call up notices for interview.
The final choice will be made at GHQ based on the basis of the candidate’s overall performance.

4. Documents Required at AS&RCs:

Applicants will deposit following documents at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs):

Original certificates/ documents/ details marks sheet along with two confirmed photocopies of each educational certificate/ degree.
Applicants serving in Government’s institution will render No Objection Certificates (NOC) of the concerned establishment.
Attested photocopy of domicile.
Photocopies of computerized National Identity Card.
3 × Colored photos duly attested (front & back).
Cross over postal order of Rs.100/- in favor of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.

5. Training Period:

BSc Nursing:4 × Years training at AFGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Quetta, PNS Shifa Karachi.
Trained Nurses:6 × Weeks basic military training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Kharian.
Note:On completion of successful training, shall be granted commission in the rank of Lieutenant.

6. Bond:

Finally, picked applicants will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of ten years of BSc Nursing before the commencement of training.
