Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan army Captain

1.  Information Communication and Technology Officer:

• Citizens of Pakistan and residents of Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir are domiciled. Candidates holding dual citizenship would be required to give up their other nations after final selection.
• Education: System Engineering, GIS, Geomatics, GIS, Computer Science, IT, and CE.
• Maximum age: 28 years.
• Men’s gender.
• Marital Status: either married or single.
• 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) tall.

2.  Engineers Officer (Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical & Mechanical):

• Domicile:Citizens of Pakistan and domicile owners of Azad Kashmir/ Gilgit Baltistan. Upon final selection, applicants with dual nationality will have to submit nationalities other than Pakistani.
• Education:Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical & Mechanical Engineer.
• Age Limit:28 years.
• Gender:
• Marital Status:Married/ unmarried.
• Height:5 ft 4 in (162.5 cm).

How to Register Online for Captain through Direct Short Service Commission?

• Interested candidates should register online at the Pakistan Army’s official website, https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/, to join as a captain.
• The individual’s email address will be informed of the test’s date and time. Once a date is given, it cannot be modified.
• On the day of the test, candidates must also present the paperwork listed in the advertising and pay the prospectus fee.
• Candidates need to have a working understanding of computers.
• The deadline for online registration is June 30, 2023.

Selection Procedure

1)  Preliminary Tests:

• It involves written/ intelligence/ personality tests.
• Keep staying on the official website for exam slip.
• The exact date of exam will be stamped on your exam slip/ roll no slip.

2)  Physical Tests:

• 6 Km run – 9 minutes
• Push Ups – 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
• Sit Ups – 10 repetitions in 2 minutes!
• Chin Ups -2 repetitions in 2 minutes

3)  Preliminary Selection:

• The applicants will undergo an initial medical test at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).

4)  Further Selection Procedure:

• Interviews of successful nominees by the General Headquarters (GHQ) selection board will be held at Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi for which separate call up letters will be issued.
• Successful applicants will receive call up notices for interview.
• The final selection will be made at GHQ based on a applicant’s overall performance.

5)  Documents Required at AS&RCs:

The following documents must be deposited by candidates at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs):

• Along with two attested photocopies of each educational diploma or degree, you must provide the original certificates, documentation, and mark sheets.
• Candidates working for a government agency will be provided with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant organisation.
• a certified photocopy of your address.
• computerized National Identity Card photocopies.
• 6 Colored photographs with proper attestations, 1 front and 5 back.
• Postal order for Rs. 100/- crossed in favor of the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi’s Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA).

6)  Training Period:

• 6 months at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.

7)  Bond:

• Finally selected applicants will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for the lowest period of 07 years on stamp papers worth Rs.100/- duly countersigned by Magistrate/ Notary Public/ Oath Commissioner.
